PLANCHEST APP
This was a UX project that involved designing an app to digitally preserve the Limerick City Gallery of Art's Michael O'Connor collection and make the collection accessible outside of the gallery. The challenge involved designing a gallery app designed to display the large collection of posters from different dates, artists and countries while adding value to the existing collection.
One of the biggest challenges of designing a gallery app was creating something that could work with the variety of different colours and visual styles in the posters. The design is kept relatively simple with an editorial touch for some personality and visual interest. A vibrant green was chosen as the primary colour, feeling modern and standing out against the variety of colourful visuals.
